Burke Berry is a 2021 LHP/OF/1B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Peachtree City, GA who attends Mcintosh HS. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and plenty of projectability with room to fill throughout moving forward. Primary lefthanded pitcher, clean gather through delivery with balanced throughout, can continue to incorporate lower half in drive down the mound; shows looseness to arm action while working to a three-quarters release point. Slight effort at release, topped out at 80 mph with consistent and late sinking life through the zone, filled up the strike zone and mixed a 1-7 shaped curveball for strikes; landed consistently with good spin and finishes over front side. Will continue to develop a feel for the changeup. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a narrow base and a high hand set at the plate; utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing. Full swing path through the zone, linear plane and stays inside the baseball. Shows strength and worked the opposite field, upper body dominant swing with occasional lift. Excellent student. Named to Main Event Top Prospect List.
