Mikey Fettig is a 2021 C/RHP, 3B, MIF with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Lassiter. Showcased a medium frame with a strong, stocky type build with mature strength showing throughout especially in the lower half. Ran a 7.41 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher starting with a slight side saddle. Receiving the baseball out front. Mechanically sound. Clean transfers while being quick. Gains ground on throw downs with throws around the bag. Secondary Righthanded pitcher starting closed off and spread out. Quick leg lift over the belt then drops. High three-quarter arm slot hiding the baseball well. Compact arm action showing easy velo. Fastball topped out at 79 mph with a slurvy curveball showing 10/4 bite getting plenty of swings and misses. Secondary Infielder flashing clean footwork working well around and through the baseball. Arm is strong with carry to throws. Great feel for the position with corner infielder type tools. Righthanded hitter starting from an open stance with a spread out look. Relying heavily on upper half to create consistent contact. Pull side approach showing power when getting extended. Quiet, simple approach. Good Student.
