Brian Hart is a 2018 OF/LHP with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Saratoga Springs, NY who attends Saratoga Springs High School. Large build, lean, athletic frame, very projectable, and additional room to fill out physically. Posted a 6.83 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, showed fluidity through the ball, lower arm slot, and good arm strength up to 83 mph. At the plate, started with a wide base, high hand set, and a leg lift timing mechanism. Showed a line drive swing plane, generated bat speed well, longer swing at times, and creates leverage with lower half. Drives the ball well with impressive pull side contact with carry off the barrel that included a home run in batting practice. Also pitched, utilized a lower three quarter arm slot, deception, short stride to the plate, and a short, compact arm action. Crossfire element to delivery and attacks left handed batters well inside. Fastball worked 78-80 mph consistently with plane to the lower third of the zone. Showed a curveball with 1/7 shape and depth to the pitch. Very good student. Named to Top Prospect List.
