Clint Lasiter is a 2021 SS/2B, 3B with a 5-10 176 lb. frame from Benton, LA who attends Benton HS. Recorded a 7.16 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with some present athleticism and room to fill out. Primary shortstop with extra steps through the ball with an over the top arm slot. Long strides to the backhand with deliberate actions. Quick transfer and release up the middle. Multiple slots with accuracy on throws recorded up to 80 mph. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and an even base. Quickness to hands with a hanging leg lift trigger. Pull contact with consistently and gets extended out in front. Handles the barrel nicely with a simple stride and good present bat speed. Swing plane is clean and projects. Gets onto front side and can do so on a consistent basis. Good student. Verbal commitment to Louisiana-Lafayette.
