Clayton Broeder is a 2020 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Pearland, TX who attends Pearland. Nice long athletic build with plenty of projection. Primary pitcher but did not pitch at this event, has thrown up to 84 mph in the past. Very good athlete, runs a 6.62 sixty and showed lots of athleticism in the outfield, works through the ball well with advanced footwork and glove hand exchange, gets rid of the ball quickly with accurate on line throws. Right handed hitter, tends to get his body off balance in his hunched over load but recovered well in games, has quick hands and barrels up the ball up to the ball side with a short and quick swing, has some present bat speed that can improve with additional strength and adjustments. Potential two-way prospect who we'd like to see on the mound as well. Very good student.
