Cole Beavin is a 2017 RHP/3B with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Ocoee, FL who attends West Orange HS. Long and lean build, projects well physically. Deep long arm action in back with some hook, arm is loose and clean coming through with good extension out front. Fastball topped out at 89 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side running life, has an idea how to spot his fastball and work different quadrants. Full arsenal of off speed pitches, throws both a curveball and slider, curveball has big 12/6 depth and changes eye levels well, slider has some downward tilt and bite to it, has some feel for his change up as well. Crafty right hander who throws strikes, mixes it up and has a chance to get stronger and throw harder. Good student.
