Tayari Albright is a 2017 RHP/3B, OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Westlake. Medium frame with solid present build, body projects well yet as well. Ran a 7.00 seconds 60 yard dash. Primary pitcher, shows full arm action through the back of the arm circle with high take back above head level, accelerates cleanly to high 3/4 slot release with good fluidity to arm action. Generates some plane to plate and gets online well. Fastball worked 74-78 MPH, generally around the plate with solid command of the pitch. Showed feel for curveball with solid depth and spin. Hits with line drive swing plane and quality bat speed, swings the bat with intent to do damage, made consistent contact on a line to all fields. Worked out in the infield, moves well to the ball to both sides and fields cleanly. Quick transfer and good arm strength across the infield, with throws topping at 80 MPH. Good student.
