Nathan Seprosky is a 2017 LHP/OF, 1B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Archbald, PA who attends Valley View High School. Large, athletic frame with sloped shoulders and a lean, projectable build, shows some present strength to frame. Ran a 7.26 60-yard dash. Primary lefthanded pitcher, shows balance throughout, begins delivery with a side step, full hand path and shows a quick tempo on the mound. Slight hip turn at top helps hide the ball, fuller arm stroke in the back and works to an over the top arm slot, quick arm and gets on top of fastball which topped out at 83 mph. True in terms of life, nice carry through the zone and throws strikes with a full three pitch mix. Maintains arm speed well on changeup at 74 mph, short tumbling action down in the zone. Curveball flashed bite when on top and out front, late break down in the zone. Similar arm strength from both the outfield and first bse, showed a short and quick arm action on throws with a quick transfer, accurate throws with carry front the outfield and projects with additional lower half, balanced actions coming off the first base bag. Righthanded hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow in the box. Hands start pulled back deep, shows quickness to the barrel and a short path to the ball. Gets uphill with plane at times and projects with additional extension, good rhythm to swing, stays inside the ball and works the middle and pull side parts of the field. Very good student.
