Tajh'Nick Bishop is a 2017 SS/RHP with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Ashdown, AR who attends Ashdown HS. Slender athletic build, projects well physically. Right handed hitter, spread stance, has quick hands, looks to pull and can turn on the ball with some bat speed and lift, swing will get long at times, has the hitting tools to keep improving. 7.11 runner, moves well in the middle infield, has body control and athleticism, quick exchange and transfer, showed good footwork on double plays, arm strength should continue to improve. Also pitched, drifting delivery, arm rushes to catch up, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, mostly straight but thrown to spots. Quality curveball spin with bite and depth, has an idea what he's doing on the mound. Projectable young athlete in all ares.
