Kyle Mott is a 2018 RHP/OF with a 6-3 163 lb. frame from Fuquay-Varina, NC who attends Fuquay-Varina HS. Tall and projectable righthanded pitcher with very long limbs and room for physical projection. Extended three-quarters arm slot with looseness to the motion and good present arm speed. Full path to release with a leg lift above the belt. Coils inward upon gather over the rubber and has a crossfire element to his landing leg. Gets over the front side well and throws with a bit of intent. Not afraid to work up in the zone with his fastball that was registered up to 86 mph. Control of the strike zone and works to both sides of the plate. Mixed in a curveball with 11/5 shape and solid depth. Generates good extension and commanded well to the glove side. Named to the 2017 Atlantic Coast Top Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
