Collin Sheehan is a 2017 C/3B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Doylestown, PA who attends Central Bucks-East. Large frame with a solid build and present strength. Projects for additional size with strength. Let handed hitter with a slightly open stance and high back elbow set. Smooth hand path to contact with a line drive swing plane. Shows a mid-field to pull side approach. Looks to get extended at contact to use the pull side gap. Shifts lower half to contact well with rotational actions to baseball. Solid balance throughout swing with loud contact to pull side. Worked out defensively from behind the plate showing a low set with good hip flexion. Gains ground well with solid arm strength. Produces good arm extenstion on release that generate accurate throws with carry on top of the bag. Solid tools at and behind the plate that will continue to develop with maturity. Good student. Named to 2016 Northeast Indoor Showcase-PA Top Prospect List.
