Jake Brace is a 2017 RHP/MIF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends North Gwinnett HS. Slender middle infielder's type build. Front side opens early, arm works smoothly from a 3/4's arm slot, ball comes out of his hand with little effort. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 86 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side run. Nice change up with good arm speed and release. Slow curveball changes the hitters eye level. Threw strikes with all three pitches and had a quick and efficient outing. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Georgia Tech.
