Parker Haskin is a 2019 C with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends Avon Old Farms. Medium, athletic frame with a lean and projectable build, projects nicely with additional physical strength. Ran a 5.53 40-yard dash. Primary catcher, pops out of crouch well with balance and explosion, quick feet and gains ground, short and tight arm action with a compact release, gets on top of throws with solid carry and arm strength out of hand, accurate throws, shifts weight and blocks well on balls in the dirt. Switch-hitter, shows more bat speed from the left side with loose hands and advanced bat speed for age. Swings with intent and shows some strength off the barrel, incorporates lower half well and uses a line drive swing path. Show quickness to hands and sound bat speed from right side too with some jump off the barrel when squared, utilizes lower half well. Nice tools on both sides of the ball that still project. Named to Northeast Indoor Top Prospect List. Very good student.
