Ryan Rolison is a 2016 LHP/1B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Jackson, TN who attends University School Of Jackson. Outstanding young pitcher's build, long and lean with long arms and plenty of physical projection, Fast paced delivery with a clean and fast arm action, ball comes out clean, high 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball to 91 mph, mostly straight but with good downhill plane, throws strikes and can locate his fastball to both sides of the plate. Hard curveball with depth and late biting action, has feel for the pitch and can vary the break and change hitters eye levels with it, rare change up but flashed some quality with it. Very projectable in all regards, has a chance to be very good moving forward. Verbal commitment to Mississippi.
