Trey Campbell is a 2017 OF/MIF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Aldie, VA who attends Riverside. Medium build with room to fill out and add strength. Hits from a slightly open stance with a wide base. Starts with high hands. Short swing with a quick barrel through zone. Gets out to front side on contact and has natural lift in swing. Has strength in swing which has a line drive swing plane. Ball jumps off barrel when centered. When on time and everything lines up hits ball hard, has good upside at plate. Defensively, ball comes out of hand clean, short and quick steps to ball, fields out front, arm has good arm quickness. Strong raw arm action. Ball carries well. Good Student. Named to Top Prospect Team.
