Sammy Siani is a 2019 OF/LHP with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Glenside, PA who attends William Penn Charter. Medium, athletic frame with solid present build and good projection. Hits with synchronized leg lift and barrel tip; generates easy bat speed with strength off the barrel. Consistently drove the ball into the air and into both gaps, has a chance for plus power as he continues to physically develop. Shows athletic actions in the OF, moves well to the ball and gets behind it, fields cleanly and uses lower half well to generate power on his accurate throws to target. Ran well, posting a 7.07 60 yard dash time. Pitched as well, showing compact, quick delivery. Short arm circle up to high 3/4 arm slot, repeats mechanics well, FB worked in high 60's topping out at 69 MPH. Mixed in CB with sweeping break, showing good horizontal and vertical action at times. Potentially very high level offensive prospect. Named to 2015 Northeast Underclass Showcase Top Prospect List. Good Student.
