Kevin Coe is a 2020 2B/SS with a 5-10 161 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Whitney Young. Ran a 7.16 second sixty-yard dash. Primary second baseman with a medium frame that has room to fill out, and an athletic build. Rounds the ball well, funneling out front with a clean backhand as well. Shows impressive range to the glove side with clean footwork throughout, making some accurate throws across the diamond from multiple slots. Has present arm strength, with throws up to 82 miles per hour. Switch hitter that has a slightly crouched and even stance. Has a leg lift trigger and high back elbow, showing advanced bat-to-ball skills and a high-contact approach. Has the same high-contact approach from both sides of the plate, spraying line drives through the middle of the field. Currently more advanced tools from the left side with more consistency and barrel control. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Eastern Kentucky.
