Daniel Fallacaro is a 2018 C/OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Fairfield, CT who attends Fairfield College Preparatory. Medium build with present strength. Ran a 4.96 second 40 yard dash. Primary catcher, gets set in a good crouch position, quick twitch actions behind the plate, transfer is smooth and quick as well as release, good arm strength that really carries to the bag well, has tendency to rush into throws at times, lots of effort but catching actions really work, topped out at 80 mph from behind the plate with an event best 1.87 second pop time. Righthanded hitter, wide base with a slightly open stance, rotational swing with strength to it, arms bar at load, front side tends to drift, could sit back longer letting the ball travel for more pop off of the barrel. Named to 2018 Northeast Indoor Top Prospect List. Verbal commitment to Sacred Heart.
