Jun Choi is a 2018 C/RHP/1B with a 5-11 182 lb. frame from Greenwood Village, CO who attends Cherry Creek HS. Big and strong build, looks bigger than listed. Right handed hitter, strong fundamental hitter with bat speed and strength at contact, lifting swing plane with a power approach, hits the ball hard to the pull side. Wide base behind the plate, receives the ball well with strong hands, will need to continue to work on his lower half quickness and shifting, long and loose arm action with some carry, 2.14 best pop time. Also pitchched, over the top arm action, arm works well. Fastball topped out at 79 mph, mostly straight. Curveball has good downward spin and some bite to it. Threw strikes and got outs. His bat is his tool. Outstanding student.
