Andrew Hass is a 2019 SS/MIF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Newton, MA who attends Newton North. Medium frame with solid present build; some projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.57 seconds. Even based, relaxed stance when hitting, deep wrapping load, creates separation, shows good bat speed once hands get moving. Line drive swing plane with middle field approach, consistent barrel skills with ability to strike the ball firmly out front, hit liners to all fields. Worked out in the infield; athletic movements with range to both sides, clean actions at the ball with easy glove skills, makes clean transfers and shows solid arm strength across the diamond with throws clocked up to 77 mph. Very good student.
