Trace Jeffers is a 2019 LHP/OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Winterville, GA who attends Prince Ave Christian HS. Large frame with athletic, projectable present build. Ran 60 yard dash in 6.96 seconds. Primary left-handed pitcher, shows repeatable delivery with sound mechanics, gets on good line to the plate, lands online with stride and drives downhill. Throws from high three quarters arm slot with good plane to the plate and good extension; fastball worked 76-80 MPH with arm side run. Showed curveball with 2/7 shape and quality depth; also flashed changeup with good arm speed and fading action. Mixed and matched three pitches and threw strikes. Sets up to hit from upright, open-based stance with high back elbow and leg lift trigger. Inside hand path with solid bat speed and loft to plane, works back through the middle consistently with good balance through swing. Worked out in the outfield, comes in on ball well, field cleanly and works through the ball, shows good arm strength up to 82 MPH. Excellent student.
