Jordan Lala is a 2018 OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Odessa, FL who attends Tampa Catholic High School. Medium, athletic frame with a lean, projectable build and a good amount of room to still fill out moving forward. Excellent runner, full of fast-twitch muscle and posted a 6.63 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well to the ball on feet and works through the ball well, fields out front and projects nicely for center field, shorter and loose arm action with solid carry out of hand and present arm strength, on line to intended base. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a high back elbow in the box and a employs a small leg lift trigger for timing. Does a nice job of getting extended and fires hips well through the zone with fluidity to swing path. Simple weight shift and shows a feel for the barrel, line drive swing plane with occasional leverage, ball comes off the barrel well when squared with solid bat speed. God student.
