Casey Daiss is a 2019 RHP/1B with a 6-4 220 lb. frame from Clermont, FL who attends TNXL Academy. Large frame with good projection remaining overall, good present strength. Primary righthanded pitcher, deliberate delivery with smoothness and balance, throws from mid-three quarters arm slot with good arm speed, ball comes out clean, uses legs well through delivery, fastball worked 79-84 mph with heavy cutting life to glove side. Showed good command of pitch down in zone and to both sides of the plate, really attacked hitters and pounded the zone. Hits from wide-based stance with short stride, pull-side approach intent to get the ball into the air, compact hand path, good strength when square. Very good student.
