Christian Jones is a 2019 RHP/1B with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Tuscaloosa, AL who attends Hillcrest HS. Recorded a 7.07 60-yard dash. Extra large frame with present size and strength throughout. Primary pitcher with a long arm action and long arm circle through the release. Accelerates his arm near the beginning of the arm circle. Delivers from an over the top arm slot and the ball comes easily out of the hand. Curveball showed good depth as well. Loose arm in the outfield with accurate throws on a line. Gets behind the well with solid footwork. Very loose, fluid swing path and flashed power potential. Swings with intent to drive the baseball and has a solid overall approach and skill set. Good student.
