Joshua Donegan is a 2023 RHP/3B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Long Beach, CA who attends Los Alamitos. Large frame with a lean build showing broad shoulders. Ran a 7.57 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, clean overall operation as he stays balanced while he lifts and does a good job of staying direct to the dish. Whip to the arm as he released from a high three-quarter slot. Worked downhill and went right after hitters. Fastball up to 84 mph as he shows more velocity in the tank down the road. Curveball showing more sweep than depth in the upper-60's. Secondary Third Baseman, keeps the baseball in front of him as he is confident with the glove. Scoops it up and then shuffles into throws. Proved he could change angles and throw on the run. Was up to 80 mph throwing it across the diamond. Fits the corner position mold well. Right-Handed Hitter, starting even with high hands behind the ear. Linear swing path as he throws hands at the baseball. Looks to stay inside of it and drive it middle-away. Proved to have some feel for the barrel. Outstanding Student.
