Tracy Mitchem is a 2021 OF/LHP, 1B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Windermere, FL who attends West Orange HS. Large frame with strength and physicality present to the build. Primary outfielder who attacks the ball and shows a compact arm stroke. Throws come out clean with arm strength recorded up to 84 mph with good carry. Secondary first baseman with good hands and a clean arm. Fields the ball out in front with quick transfers to the throwing hand. Secondary lefthanded pitcher with a big leg lift above the belt and coils over the backside of the rubber. Longer offline arm stroke with a high three-quarters arm slot. Fastball comes out relatively clean with some sink. Showed a changeup with cutting action as well as a breaking ball. Lefthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and gets the barrel out well. Natural leverage with good bat speed and gets some jump off the barrel. Pull side power present with good backspin and carry and projects for additional power. Good student.
