Joneric Hernandez is a 2019 RHP/3B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Juncos, PR who attends International Baseball Academy. Big athletic build. High leg lift delivery, on line drop and drive mechanics down the mound, long and loose arm action from a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, has been 83-86 mph at past PG events in 2017, gets some run and sink at times, works his fastball for strikes. Big slow curveball with 11/5 shape, drops it into the zone as a change of pace. Good student.
