Zach Nash is a 6'3" 170 pound 2007 right handed pitcher from Alexander High School in Douglasville, Georgia. He has a tall lean frame that is very projectable. Zach pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with an online balanced delivery. His fastball was thrown at 77 mph while he threw his 11/5 curveball at 63 mph. His best pitch was his change up that had good sink at 67 mph. He is a good athlete who was able to field his position well and cover first base with no problem. At the plate, Nash has a calm quiet approach with a balanced swing. He leads with his hands and has good bat speed in his line drive swing plane. He runs the bases very well and has good overall instincts. Zach has a great attitude and is also a good student with a 3.0 gpa.
