Vincent Martin is a 2018 3B/RHP with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Chandler, AZ who attends Chandler HS. Martin has a medium sized frame with a lean projectable build. Defensively he played back on the ball in the workout with short transfers and a long arm action. He showed good arm strength up to 85 MPH with carry on the baseball. He showed solid hands and solid 3B tools. At the plate he starts with an open stance and a high back elbow. He looks to pull the baseball and swings on an uphill plane. He looks to lift the baseball and he has some pop to the pull side. Martin showed some power potential and some bat speed. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. Martin gets some sink on his fastball and he throws a big curveball at 61 MPH. Very good student.
