Myles A. Campbell is a 2016 LHP/OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Bellaire HS. Has a long, lean frame combined with an athletic, strong build with room to fill as he puts on additional muscle. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot with short quick arm action that is very loose. The ball jumps out of his hands in his easy, repeatable delivery with good line and direction to the plate. Stays tall on his backside creating good plane on the ball. Has good arm circle in the back and does a nice job of getting extension out in front. Fastball generates good arm side run and is located well. Curveball has sharp 3/7 shape with late depth and action. Good feel for changeup, has good depth and fading action. Able to throw all three pitches for strikes, mixes well keeping hitters off balance. Stuff over-matched hitters and was dominate out of windup. Solid defensive range, easy arm action from the outfield with good carry on throws. At the plate, starts with a slightly open stance and high hand set. Has a short, quick swing with good extension through the zone. Showed solid bat speed and athletic actions at the plate. Very projectable and has more in him as he continues to mature.
