Johnny Zega is a 2016 SS/2B with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Lincroft, NJ who attends Middletown South. Large, athletic frame with long limbs and a lean projectable frame with room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.56 60-yard dash. Shorts steps to the ball in the infield, athletic actions, shows range up the middle, long release on throws across, quick transfer, hands play, good carry and strength on throws, can throw from multiple slots, taller at release, can make the off balance play. Did not see Zega hit but looking forward to the opportunity in the future.
