PG Grade: 6
Kristopher Suzuki is a 2007 LHP/OF with a 6'1'', 145 lb. frame from San Francisco, CA, who attends Stuart Hall HS. Lean frame with good projection. On the mound he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with good arm action. Suzuki throws with minimal effort in his drop and drive delivery with good extension out front on his release. His fastball topped out at 71 mph while working in the 68-71 mph range, and he gets sinking action on the pitch. He also mixes in a 12/6 breaking ball with big break, and a 65 mph change with sink. Suzuki competes on the mound throwing strikes and getting hitters out. At the plate he hits from a slightly open and upright stance. He has a line drive swing plane that is short and compact. He makes consistent contact to all fields, and should hit for a high average. Defensively he moves well to the ball in the outfield with fluid actions. Suzuki is a player with upside, and is a very good student as well.
