Marshall Rosenberg is a 2017 2B/OF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Memorial HS. Compact frame with athletic, lean, well-proportioned build. Primary second baseman, moves well laterally in the infield. Fields out in front of body, hands work, has solid actions and a quick transfer. Right handed hitter, slightly crouched stance, quiet hand load with active weight shift. Solid rhythm, although can hit off of frontside at times. Short, efficient path to ball with line-drive swing plane. Can cut self off a bit after contact, contact-oriented swing and shows good ability to work from gap-to-gap. Good student, verbal commitment to Tulane University.
