Noah Fritz is a 2017 OF/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Sugar Hill, GA who attends Lanier HS. Big athletic build, looks bigger than listed, good strength and physical projection. 6.89 runner, sound outfield actions and athleticism, has good arm strength and makes on line throws. Right handed hitter, hand drop load with an inside hand path, tends to hit from under the ball with an uphill swing plane, has raw bat speed and the ball carries well to the pull side, has the tools to really blossom if he would learn to hit from above the ball. Also pitched, over the top arm action from an on line delivery, gets good leg drive to the plate. Fastball topped out at 80 mph with some arm side life, has been up to 84 mph in the past, big breaking 12/6 downer curveball, throws strikes with both pitches and competes well. Good student.
