Jayton Marrington is a 2014 OF/SS with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Burleson, TX who attends Centennial. Medium compact build with good strength and athleticism. Showed a strong arm from the outfield with a short arm action, throws downhill and has an accurate arm. Has good feet on the infield with good arm strength and good actions. Leg kick load at the plate with a square stance and is a lead-off hitter with his speed. Has a middle of the field aggressive approach with a simple line drive swing and hustles down the line. When he is on base he uses his speed to his advantage and is a disruption to the pitcher. Is a player to continue to follow.
