Michael Caveney is a 2017 OF/2B with a 5-11 167 lb. frame from Raleigh, NC who attends North Raleigh Christian Academy. Has a medium frame, lean build, room to continue to fill out physically as he puts on additional muscle. Posted a 7.10 60-yard dash. From the outfield, good footwork and clean actions, aggressive to the baseball generating good momentum through the baseball into throws. Made accurate throws with developing carry, arm strength was up to 82 MPH. At the plate, starts with an open stance, low hand set, and a small leg lift trigger. Has present strength in his swing, natural lift at the point of contact, and ability to turn on the inside pitch. Good student.
