Jacob Steinberg is a 2018 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-2 225 lb. frame from Germantown, MD who attends St. Johns College HS. Big and strong build, pretty mature physically. Right handed hitter, early pre-swing load, hits from a still start with limited shift into contact, has a short strength driven swing and handles the barrel well, line drive contact to all fields, power hitter's body with a contact type swing. 7.23 runner, showed very good arm strength at third base with carry on his throws, has soft well positioned hands and fields the ball cleanly out front, solid overall defensive actions. Did not pitch at this event but has been up to 90 mph on the mound before. Good student.
