Nick DeLuise is a 2015 3B/IF with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Hazlet, NJ who attends St John Vianney. Athletic build with nice present strength and a strong lower half. Ran a 7.20 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball out front well, shows range with a good first step. Has arm strength across with carry, accuracy will improve by getting on top of the ball. Right-handed batter, starts with a spread lower half and a high hand set. Long but quick path to the ball, aggressive approach with knowledge of strike zone. Upper half swing, showed ability to create line drive contact to all fields with a strong feel for the barrel. Very good student.
