Adrian Rubalcaba is a 2016 LHP/1B with a 6-1 250 lb. frame from Raymondville, TX who attends Raymondville HS. Large and thick build. Slightly cross body delivery, 3/4's arm slot, arm works well coming through, not consistent with landing and direction out front. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, will get some cutting action to the glove side at times, throws strikes with his fastball. Throws two different types of curveball, a bigger breaking low 60's version with some depth to it and a harder slurve type breaking ball with a shorter more sweeping break. Gives hitters different looks and competes well.
