Brian Kregel is a 2016 OF/ with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Lilburn, GA who attends Parkview HS. Has a medium frame, athletic build, with signs of strength with more to come as he continues to put on additional muscle. Posted a 6.88 second sixty yard dash, moves well in the field and on the base paths. From the outfield, has short footwork to the baseball with quick actions. Made throws from a high slot with longer arm action, arm strength up to 86 mph with more to come as he consistently stays on top of the baseball on throws. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with an open stance, high hand set, and high back elbow. Showed good bat speed and quick hands at the plate. Swings on a line drive swing plane with loud contact off the barrel. Good feel for the barrel with solid torque that may lead to more power down the road, flashes signs of advanced movements at the plate. Outstanding student. Named to 2016 National Academic Top Prospect List.
