Cameron Hook is a 2015 RHP/3B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Newport Beach, CA who attends Orange Lutheran. Hook has a medium sized frame with a lean build. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a medium length arm action. Hook uses a high leg lift and gets good hip turn at balance point. He throws across his body and spins off some. Hook gets some run on his fastball and throws strikes. He throws a 10/4 curveball with developing shape and spin. He also throws a change up with sink to it. At the plate, he starts with a square upright stance and has a rotational swing. He gets extended and made contact to the opposite field. Defensively, he has easy actions and plays through the ball well. Excellent student.
