Troy Vazquez is a 2014 3B/RHP with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Cedar Grove, NJ who attends Seton Hall Prep. He has a compact build and strong lower 1/2 with more room to add strength. In the infield he showed a long arm action, with raw arm strength and actions that worked while staying online. At the plate, he had a wide set up and displayed a line drive swing plane while staying balanced. On the mound, he has a long arm action and looseness with an extended 3/4 release. He has a slow tempo, around the plate and pitches to contact. His fastball has arm side run, and has an 11/5 curveball that he mixes in well. Excellent Student.
