Austin Lord is a 2014 OF/LHP with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Baytown, TX who attends Lee. Has a large projectable frame with room to fill out. Good athlete in the outfield with good actions has a long loose arm action with good carry on his throws. Has a strong accurate arm with good feet wok and gets a good read on fly balls. Starts with an upright stance at the plate with an aggressive approach. Has a back load with bat speed, makes consistent contact at the plate and goes with the pitch well. Pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. Has good mechanics, an easy repeatable delivery, throws strikes with his pitches goes to the mound with a plan and executes it well. Is an intriguing player to follow and is an excellent student.
