Brian Lau is a 2013 C/3B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Oceanside, NY who attends Oceanside. Long, lean build, will add weight and strength as body fills out. Good defensive catcher with feel for receiving. Stands up to throw, short arm action, ball comes out well and is online and accurate. Transfer is good, Projection for more arm strength and lower pop times. Right handed hitter with long swing. Contact, middle of the field approach. Long to it with solid extension. Flashed pop to right-center field. Excellent student.
