James Durdan is a 2015 LHP/1B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Grand Ridge, IL who attends Ottawa Township HS. Medium build, some developing strength. Over the top release point, short stride cuts off extension out front, front side tends to pull off on release, repeats delivery well. Mid to upper 60's fastball, topped out at 68, mostly straight, throws strikes with fastball and works in and out, pitches to contact. Soft 12/6 curveball, rolling break, some feel for change up with sink, fields his position well and competes. 7.63 runner, left handed hitter, balanced stance, long rotational swing, solid game single. Outstanding student.
