Rayne Supple is a 2015 RHP/SS, OF with a 6-3 187 lb. frame from Shelburne, VT who attends Champlain Valley. Large, athletic build with broad shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill out. Good athlete, ran a 7.01 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws from a three-quarter arm slot with an easy and loose arm action coming through and creates nice angle. High leg raise, sound mechanics, full hand path and stays compact. Stays on line with lower half and projects for more velocity. Ball comes out of hand easily, works down with fastball which topped at 85 mph with some run to arm side. Curveball shows tight spin with 11-5 life and late break and shows a strong feel for changeup with late fading life at 76 mph. Fluid arm from the outfield with accurate throws and gets over front side well. Switch hitter, wide base with a low hand set from the left side, gets the barrel through the zone with contact to pull side. Starts with a wide base from the right side, shows lift in swing with some pop and loft to pull side with good bat speed. Verbal commitment to Wake Forest. Named to Northeast Top Prospect List. Very good student.
