Nick Ono is a 2014 OF/ with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Yorba Linda, CA who attends Esperanza. Ono has a smaller frame with a lean build. Defensively, Ono moves to the ball well in the outfield with solid actions. He uses a short arm action with some arm strength and carry on his throws. At the plate, Ono starts with a slight crouch with a high hand set and a line drive approach. He uses the whole field and showed a good swing path to the baseball. Ono showed some pop and made solid contact. He is aggressive on the base paths and shows good instincts on the bases. Good student.
