PG Grade: 7
Stanley Petteway is a 2013 RHP/OF, SS with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Waterbury, CT who attends Crosby. Lean, athletic player with room to fill out and add strength. Ran a 6.97 sixty yard dash. On the mound, short stride, long arm circle, tight in back. Mostly fastballs, keeps ball down and induces ground balls. Mixed in curveball with big shape and break, did not show changeup. Solid defensively on the infield and outfield. Long arm action with some carry, projects for more arm strength in OF. Good range on infield, stays online, decent actions, solid range. Aggressive on bases. Aggressive swing at plate, stays inside and shows quickness in bat. Good student.
