Mitch Gade is a 2013 OF/1B with a 6-4 235 lb. frame from Rochester, MN who attends Rochester Century HS. Big large projectable frame strong build. Has a short arm action from the outfield, throws from a low arm slot, accurate throws, good arm. Starts with flexed knees open crouched stance at the plate, goes to the opposite field well, squares the ball up, glides through his swing, lets the ball travel, smooth good swing, gap to gap hitter, shows bat speed, able to hit pitches out of the zone. Is an excellent student.
