Tyler Kardas is a 2013 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-3 160 lb. frame from Hopewell Junction, NY who attends John Jay East Fishkill. Long lean athletic. Versatile player who only pitch at showcase. Big leg kick, shows athleticism in delivery. Effort with body, throws from low 3/4 slot. Raw mechanics but shows arm strength and gets downhill with extension on release, Deception in delivery, fields position well. Solid slider with late break, also showed changeup and curveball. Can mixes pitches. Has potential.
